This article describes how to upload and add an audio file from our Call Routing section of the Mediahawk platform to use as an Intro or a Whisper.

 

Your login needs to be set up as Administrator with Read & Write permission to allow you to connect your numbers. 

 

Log into Mediahawk 

Select the account in question: it must be a single account, not a group account

To access the Connect menu, click Admin 

Select Call routing

To select all numbers visible on screen, click the box against the Service numbers column

Or access the menu and select Search

Enter your search terms and the table will display any result found

Tick relevant numbers to connect 

Click the telephone icon on the right hand side

To access the audio section, you may need to click  Advanced at the top of the table

Once in Advanced, you will see the audio options: Intro (audio played to the caller) or Whisper (audio played to the call handler)

 

Under Intro or Whisper, click the Plus sign to upload your audio file (The following formats are accepted: .mp3, .wav, .wma, .aac, .m4a)

Audio: give a name to your audio file

Audio file: click where it says File (as per screenshot above) to open the window explorer

Browse and select your file and click Open in your window explorer window

Click Save

 

To select all numbers visible on screen, tick the top box next to Service Number / Dynamic Pool

All lines should now be selected

Against Intro or Whisper, use the drop-down to select the audio file just added

Click Connect
