Track Sales

This is a useful tool as it allows you to see which advert is providing you with the initial call/enquiry.

This allows you the ability to track your sales made during a period of time, against the calls received on the Service Numbers (dynamic and static) to accurately match all adverts which influenced the sale.

You must be able to extract a Excel output from your own CRM system, the file extension can be csv or any valid Excel format.

The file must include at least one column containing telephone numbers.

If the telephone numbers in the file are from different countries, we would recommend to add all international dialling codes (including UK) in order to maximise matches.

The file you upload should not be password-protected.

How to use Track Sales

Log in to your Mediahawk account

Click Admin then go to the Integrate > Track Sales.

Step 1. Upload your data spreadsheet

Please ensure the first row of your spreadsheet contains the column headers.

Click Browse to locate your file on your local disk then click Upload

Step 2. Define analysis options

Select the Call Period Start and End: this is the date range that would be checked for possible matches

Advanced Settings: click Show if you would like to make any changes however you should not need to.

Output file extension: we will match the extension of the uploaded file. Use the drop-down if you would like a different file format.

Show all calls: this is the recommended setup to ensure all calls are matched to your telephone numbers in the file.

Choose whether you want to Match on time and/or Allow time difference, however these can be left as they are (un-selected).

Select which information you would like to see in the output file: some of the below will only populates based on the Mediahawk services you are subscribed to

Show destination number in output file: if you do not wish to see where the call connected in your business, untick this box

Show first visit date in output file & Show first click source/medium: available for dynamic only

Show media owner, Show media channel and Show department: available for static only

Step 3. Map columns

Match the column headers in your spreadsheet to the appropriate fields below:

At least one phone number column must be identified but all other columns are optional

We can match up to 3 telephone numbers

Once you have made your selection, click Analyse

When this is completed, click Download results then Open the file or Save File

Please note that the information obtained in the analysis is not stored in Mediahawk, it produces an output only, which you can save on your local disk.
